The Sunglasses The SL Fashion Team Love This Season

Triomphe 01 Oval Sunglasses, £400 | Celine

I’m loving Celine’s Triomphe sunglasses with the signature gold logo detail. I tend to go for black frames but this year I’m leaning more towards tortoiseshell. The oval shape is such a classic. Whether I am wearing something plain or printed, I know they’ll work with any look – which makes the investment worth it.

These Loewe sunnies are easier to wear than they look. Oval in shape and bright white, they add a cool feel to any summer look. If they're out of budget, there are plenty of more affordable white options out there that will have the same impact.

Loop Sunglasses, £260 | Loewe

Angle Acetate Cat-Eye Sunglasses, £365 | Bottega Veneta

A traditional cat-eye tends to be my go-to style but I love that these Bottega Veneta ones have a slightly retro feel to them. Made from tortoiseshell acetate, they’re super lightweight and I love the gold detail on the arms. They look cool with summer tailoring and equally good with pretty summer tops and dresses.

Nothing says summer like new sunglasses and oval frames will instantly give your look a new season edge. I believe I've found the perfect pair – these Gucci frames aren't too big or too small, and they have a subtle 90s feel to them.

Oval Acetate Sunglasses, £280 | Gucci

Cat-Eye Acetate Sunglasses, £310 | Fendi

When it comes to sunglasses, I definitely shop by shape and a black cat-eye is always my go-to. The sleek silhouette of this Fendi pair is me to a T - I love that the subtle gold-tone F hardware on the arms gives them that elevated, designer feel."
